Vision

  • The National Resource Centre on Anti Human Trafficking at the School of Criminology and Behavioural Science at Rashtriya Raksha University undertake all related activities as dissemination of quality resource materials to all concerned i.e. teachers, students, police officers, prosecutors, judicial officers, care givers, administrators, government officials, corporate, NGOs, researchers etc.
  • The Centre is a repository of all resources including books, articles, pictures, videos, media reports, films etc both in hard and electronic format.
  • The Centre is also has mandate to exchange of scientific, academic, technical information and appropriate academic materials and other information of its interest.
  • To do the joint research project and identify opportunities for exchange and cooperation to develop in disciplines of human trafficking
Proposed Program:
  • The National Resource Centre on Anti Human Trafficking jointly organized short-term courses, training programs, continuing education programs on anti human trafficking.
  • The Centre is also facilitate and organize seminars, webinars, conferences or workshops on topics of human trafficking under 3P Model that is P=Prevention (at the source, transit, and destination, including in the electronic space), P=Protection (including post rescue care, counseling, repatriation, rehabilitation, reintegration etc) and P=Prosecution (including crime registration, investigation, justice delivery etc.).
  • Run an effective Certificate Course on Anti-Human Trafficking (CCAHT) as part of the NRCHT
About The National Resource Centre on Anti Human Trafficking

The National Resource Centre on Anti Human Trafficking (NRCHT) launched on 26 February, 2021 at Rashtriya Raksha University, An Institution of National Importance as notified by Union Home Ministry, Government of India. The Resource Centre on Human Trafficking has been established with Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India Police Foundation (IPF) and University is a great chapter in the anti-human trafficking history of India and the world. This centre is a world’s first resource centre on all matters relating to human trafficking and response of human trafficking including preventing and combating trafficking. The Centre is a repository of all data, details, resources materials, tools, knowledge products etc on the subject as well as the source of dissemination and utilization of these materials, besides undertaking the up- gradation of the same from time to time.

Dr. P.M. Nair (IPS), internationally acclaimed expert is the source, inspiration and facilitator of this Centre. Dr. Shahanshah Gulpham is currently serving as the founding Nodal Officer of NRCHT.

RECOGNITION

The National Resource Centre on Anti Human Trafficking is a joint benture between Rashtriya Raksha University and India Police Foundation have a objective to achieve its goal in collaborate with reputed institutions and experts on activities that would help spread the mission of anti- human trafficking.
