Technology Development Impact

• The RRU is in constant touch with the industry to look for new technology innovations. Proof of concept for application of blockchain technology is developed at RRU in the field of Chain of Custody of Evidence in physical and digital world.
• Internal security products like portable speed breakers, Smart Police Barricades, multi-purpose law enforcement vehicle with mounted watch tower were designed, developed and manufactured with special features like lightweight, low cost etc suitable for Crowd control as mob unrest and riot is one of the major challenges our police force across the country have to face. The pilot-level field trial has been successfully conducted and a request to validate and qualify barricade has been sent to BPRD.
