About the Research Scholar Summit (RSS)

Shefali Parashar,Student- Master of Law, Batch 2018-2020

Raksha Shakti University, pioneering security and police university of India (RSU) was established in the year 2009 by the Government of Gujarat when the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. It is the first internal security institute of India, established by the government of Gujarat. In September 2020, Raksha Shakti University become a central university and renamed as Rashtriya Raksha University.

Life at Raksha Shakti University has been a breath-taking and highly enriching experience. The environment in RSU not only motivated me to study harder but also helped me in developing my overall personality and fuelling confidence. It will be unfair if I didn’t mention the tremendous support of faculty members and mentors who sat with us for horse hand hours preparing us, guiding us, and helping us even after college. I must say I am fortunate that I could be a part of such an incredible Institution. I consider myself fortunate to be a student of School of Security, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice at Raksha Shakti University. I would run out of words to explain my life at RSU so I would like to cut it short and say that this place defines education to the best. I am fortunate to be a part of this family and will always cherish the memories. Once a RSUite always an RSUite.

Abhinav Dwivedi, LL.M (Crime & Security Laws)

Being a part of new beginnings is always special and so is my journey of LL.M at School of Security, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice, RRU, having best in class faculties who throughout the academic sessions, has posed the challenges to discover capabilities that I never knew I had. This ultimately helped me to develop refined legal acumen and legal writing techniques with fine precision amongst the other things which otherwise wouldn’t have an easy job to be done. Simultaneously, I had received a lot of opportunities to groom myself to become a better version of myself, and for all this grooming and learning, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my ever-inspiring mentors for their selfless efforts.

Moreover, there are plenty of pieces of wisdom from my mentors, throughout the class, but what I find most valuable is the profound sense of empowerment, knowing that we have already had everything we need to succeed and that all it takes is the willingness to work hard and take a consistent daily effort in order to explore our potentials. No wonder the university is entered in its 11th year of journey and is still striving to achieve excellence, but in the due time, it has definitely set some benchmarks in the academia & research and is relentlessly trying to achieve the heights in rendering the world-class education.

Eesha Jaifalkar, Student-Master of Laws, Batch- 2019-2021
I’m Eesha Jaifalkar, a student of 2nd year LLM, RRU. I joined Rashtriya Raksha University in July 2019, so it’s been a year to be part of such a wonderful University. I was fortunate enough to enter a brand new campus of the University and we never felt that we are away from our homes. On the very first day at the campus, we were made sure by all the teaching and non-teaching staff that we will not miss our homes. I take this opportunity to put my gratitude on record for all the help extended by the non-teaching staff to us at the University. I am thankful to the Dean, School of Security, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice, Dr. Anand Kumar Tripathi Sir, to help us in learning new things at the University. All the professors are helpful in teaching the subject and the avenues are just one click away. My best wishes are always with RRU.

Shrimayee Puhan, Student – Master of Laws, Batch 2019 – 2021

Raksha Shakti University – India’s First Internal Security and Police University was created under the vision of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Home Minister Amit Shah Ji. It is one of its kind and I feel the privilege to be a part of such a University. Raksha Shakti University has completed ‘Eleven’ Years which marks this year as the completion of the first decade since the university got established. On this august occasion of the first-decade celebration of ‘Raksha Shakti University’ I would like to congratulate all the great visionaries behind the successful completion of these prosperous years and also would like to share my experience as a student of Master of Laws here in RSU. It is a complete privilege to be part of this university, pursuing the specialization in ‘Crime and Security Law’ has been a great experience as with its unique vision, it gave us the opportunity to master various subjects like focusing on the Internal Security of the nation and comparative study of major law subjects like the Constitution of India, Criminal Laws in India with other nations, which are of great importance but somehow not covered by other university making RSU unique, and for students who want to explore various dimensions of criminal law as well as laws governing the Internal Security of our nation, School of Security, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice is a great option. The faculties of RSU- Gandhinagar hold expertise in respective subjects and have indulged us master’s students in a new dimension of study and to approach the subjects. I have always taken their help as a guide and mentor in various aspects while studying and have found it very useful. This sums up my experience at RSU. I wish more successful and glorious years to Raksha Shakti University. Also, RSU becoming the university of National importance in the month of September 2020 was again a proud moment and now looking forward to being a part of Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar.

Shriya U. Prabhupatkar, Student-Master of Law, Batch- 2019-2021

I congratulate our Rashtriya Raksha University for successfully completing a decade of academic excellence and research. In a short span of time, our university has gained good stability and I feel the journey has now begun in a true sense.

India’s unity in diversity is demonstrated in our campus as students from different states and cultural backgrounds are part of our RRU. Various cultural, educational programmes in the nature of informative lectures and conducted and we thoroughly enjoy and are benefitted. We enjoy the vast, expansive, and lush green campus located at Lavad, a quiet place far away from the hectic city. The teaching, as well as the non-teaching staff for the college., canteen and hostel, are very cordial and helpful for us. I’m glad I made a wise decision to come out of my comfort zone and take admission at RRU, Gandhinagar. I’m sure my association with RRU as a student will bring a great value addition in terms of not only acquiring education but will make me an independent and as altogether transformed individual.

I’m sure this will come true for the next batches of students qualifying for RRU.

Cheers to our the first Police and Internal Security University of India for completing a decade and best wishes for many more decades to come.

Noor Hasan Khan, Student – Master of Laws, Batch 2019 – 2021

“The Master of Law Studies program at the Rashtriya Raksha University has really changed my life. The program provides non-lawyers with exceptional access to in-depth legal knowledge. Through the program, I have been empowered and encouraged to see how the intentional and unintended effects of laws, policies and regulations can serve to the benefit of some while harming others. Furthermore, I felt defended and challenged by the teachers and the courses and this directly increased my professional competence and my personal confidence. The teachers and program administrators were and continue to be committed mentors to me, listening to my concerns and informing my choices. Applying for the Master of Law program is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made”
