About Mr. Samrat Deb
Samrat Deb is a licensed Clinical Psychologist (RCI Registration No. A101449) based in India, recognized for his expertise in clinical practice, research, and psychological consulting. With diverse experience across healthcare, defence, and corporate sectors, he is committed to evidence-based mental health care and psychological well-being.
Previously, Samrat served as a Research Scientist I (Non-Medical) at AIIMS, Nagpur, leading a research team on an ICMR-funded project exploring AI-powered diagnostic markers for Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorder. His role involved psychometric assessments, OPD management, and interdisciplinary research at the intersection of psychiatry and artificial intelligence.
As a Consultant Psychologist with the Indian Air Force and Indian Army, he has played a crucial role in supporting the mental well-being of service personnel and their families. His expertise spans psychotherapy, counselling, and psychometric assessments, addressing challenges such as stress management, trauma recovery, and interpersonal conflicts. He has also conducted mental health workshops and awareness programs tailored to the unique demands of military life.
In addition, Samrat has worked as a Psychotherapist with Cure.fit, providing therapy for trauma, relationship distress, and interpersonal challenges. His early clinical training at Gajra Raja Medical College and North Bengal Medical College helped him develop strong skills in assessments, case formulation, and therapy planning.
With a strong foundation in clinical psychology and a multidisciplinary approach, Samrat remains dedicated to advancing mental health and psychological resilience across diverse populations.
