About Mr. Hemant Singh Tanwar

Hemant Singh Tanwar is currently working as Teaching cum Research Officer, School of Internal Security, Defence and Strategic Studies (SISDSS). He is pursuing his PhD in Defence and Strategic Studies (DSS) from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He did M.Phil. & M.A. in Defence and Strategic Studies from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He qualified University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test in Defence and Strategic Studies in 2019. During his PhD tenure, he has taught Under- Graduate Students at Institute of Social Sciences Education and Research, Panjab University. He was Teaching as an Assistant Professor in Dayanand PG College, Hisar, Haryana for Academic session (2020-2021). His areas of interest include Indian Ocean, India’s Naval Power, Military Affairs, Traditional and Non Traditional Security threats to India.
