About KAUSHAL KUMAR MALIK

Currently associated to Lucknow campus of the university as Assistant Professor (Police Administration) in the School of Internal Security & Police Administration (SISPA), and Program Coordinator of Post Graduate Diploma Course in Industrial Security and Safety (PGDISS). He has completed his M.Phil. dissertation in Police Administration from the then Department of Police Administration, Raksha Shakti University, now School of Internal Security and Police Administration, Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar. He holds dual Master’s Degree, first in Criminology with specialization in Human Rights and second in Public Administration from Indira Gandhi National Open University. He holds three Bachelor’s Degrees, first in Social Work with Specialization in Rural Development and second in Statistics and third in the field of Law. Mr. Malik has done internship with Ahmedabad Commissioner- ate, Delhi-Police Economic Offences-wing, National Crime Records Bureau, Forensic Science Laboratories of Delhi, Rajasthan, Delhi Police Security Wing, Various Courts of Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Gujarat, and NGOs like India Vision Foundation, Prayas Juvenile- aid Centre, Various villages of the Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana. He has worked for a year as a Junior Researcher in UN Consultative agency and think tank, International Institute for Non- Align Studies. His research interests are Criminal Justice System, Socio-Legal Studies, Police Administration, Emerging areas in Social Sciences, Peace and Conflict Studies and Strategic Management.
