About Dr. Kaveri Tandon

Currently working as Assistant Professor of the School of Internal Security & Police Administration (SISPA). She holds a Ph. D degree in Police Administration with specialization in Road Safety and Traffic Police from Centre for Police Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She completed her Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in Police Administration with specialization in Police- Public Interface in year 2013 from and her Master of Arts (M.A) in Police Administration in year 2011, both from Punjab University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Public Administration from Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector- 42, Chandigarh.
Prior to this role, Dr. Tandon had also worked as an Assistant Professor in the department of Politics and Leadership at School of Creative Liberal Education, Jain (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, as well as experience of 2 Years of teaching Criminology, Law and Order, Indian Penal Code and Indian Constitution among others through Police Administration discipline at Government College for Girls, Sector- 11, Chandigarh to Post Graduate aspirants for the academic sessions of 2012-13 and 2013-14. She has published articles and also participated and presented papers in National and various Regional conferences. During her studies, Dr. Tandon participated in many co curriculum activities. She stood first in Debate Competition held in March 2014 and February 2013 organized by Centre for Police Administration. She participated in Paper Reading competition for all three years during graduation (2006–2009). She has also participated in the Youth Parliament Competition (2004-2005). She also attended National School of Drama Theatre-In-Education Company Summer Theatre Workshop from 17 May 2002 to 16 June 2002.
