About Prof. Raakesh Kriplani

Prof. (Dr.) Raakesh Kriplani has accomplished Post-Graduate in Psychology and Ph.D. in Cyber-Psychology. He has been working as a practising, certified cyber-psychologist with satellite offices in Nagpur, Mumbai, Chennai, and Pune for the past 21 years. He has extensive expertise as a Psychologist, Cyber Psychologist, HR Trainer, Motivational Speaker, and Social Contributor.

• On panel of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries):
  • Prof. Dr. Raakesh has been honoured with Professor of Psychology by CPS Sri Lanka with American British university.
  • He has delivered 1700 workshops with 600 organisations in 18 states including many schools, colleges and various companies till date. He believes that people understand and learn more through doing. Consequently, his seminars and workshops are highly participative and action-oriented.
  • He was awarded best Psychologist Maharashtra by IBN 7 and prime time media at New Delhi.
  • Mayor award for Mental health development of youth Cyber awareness by PRDF Goa at international conference at Kolkata.
  • Women’s channel Award for mental awareness program for women by Former Minister Smt. Sulekha Kumbhare.
  • Youth development award by National Vice President of NCPSL under HR ministry.
  • Scouts and Guides Award for promoting mental health.
• Cyber Psychology:
  • Initiated a Cyber Addiction Clinic at Nagpur with latest protocols.
  • He has been instrumental in bringing Cyber psychology to India and trained more than 500 psychologists in cyber psychology.
  • Certified CYBER CRIME INVESTIGATION OFFICER with NATIONAL SECURITY DATABASE.
  • Associated partner and trainer for National security database and Information and systems analytics.
  • Have successfully trained 200 psychologists in Cyber psychology as expert trainers.
  • National president of Indian Cyber Psychology Association.
  • Creating awareness about cybercrime and psychology at various platforms such as Media, schools and colleges, and corporates.
  • Launched a social awareness program SAVDHAAN at NAGPUR with leading newspaper DAINIK BHASKAR to create social awareness about cybercrime and psychology.
  • Launched SEEDS program with Bharatiya vidya Bhavans School and conducted around 250 sessions per year for teachers and students. Significant results in reducing screen time, gaming addiction and pornography problems were observed. Same concept of training has been launched with other 10 schools like St Xaviers school, CIPS, Gurukul, etc.
  • Founder member of Cyber Safe NAGPUR program and is on panel with Nagpur cyber police as Cyber Psychologist.
  • Started a questions and answers column in Dainik Bhaskar on covid-19 and Cyber psychology
  • Has been instrumental in consulting with reputed NGOs regarding remedies and amendments for mitigating Child Pornography which was widely appreciated by the Central Government.
  • Was keynote speaker at the International Conference of Cyberspace at Kolkata organised by GWUP FLORIDA.
  • Delivered as keynote speaker at Goa for international delegates from 15 countries on “Radicalization through Cyber”.
  • Introduced to the school principal’s group, a curriculum on Digital Quotient [DQ] for school students.
