Assistant Professor at the School of Internal Security, Defence and Strategic Studies (SISDSS). She is a scholar of international and maritime security, holding a Ph.D. in East Asian Studies from the University of Delhi. With over six years of combined research, policy advisory, and editorial experience across India’s leading strategic think tanks—Centre for Land Warfare Studies, National Maritime Foundation, and Institute of Chinese Studies. Dr. Moudgil’s research focuses on maritime security in the Indo-Pacific region, freedom of navigation, regional security dynamics in Southeast Asia, the strategic behaviour of China, and the role of UNCLOS in shaping maritime governance and state conduct.
