Dr. Muralidhar Belagali is currently working as a Teaching Cum Research Officer (TCRO) at School of Internal Security and SMART Policing (SISSP), Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Lavad Campus, Gujarat. He has completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, with distinction. He pursued his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, and graduated with a Gold Medal. He qualified for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) in 2017 and completed his Ph.D. titled “Children in Conflict with Law in Karnataka State: A Criminological Study” at the Department of Criminology and Forensic Science, Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, Karnataka. Dr. Muralidhar Belagali has actively participated in and presented more than five research papers at various national and international conferences and seminars. He has published more than eight research papers and articles in Scopus-indexed journals, Web of Science journals, UGC CARE-listed journals, and other peer-reviewed publications. He had five years of experience in research and teaching. He is a self-motivated, organized, reliable, and hardworking individual. He has held several academic and administrative responsibilities including Curriculum Designer and Course Instructor for undergraduate programmes, and Board of Examination Member. He has supervised Undergraduate and postgraduate student dissertations in diverse areas of Criminology and Criminal Justice and has contributed to field-based and experiential learning initiatives. In his present role as TCRO at RRU, he contributes to training coordination, institutional outreach, and strengthening industry academia linkages in alignment with the university’s mission of capacity building and national security education.
