Prof (Dr) Dinesh Kumar Pandey, Gp Capt (Retd), is a seasoned leader and strategic thinker specializing in leadership, strategic planning, and training & development. Currently a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Air Power Studies, New Delhi, he holds a Ph.D. in Management from Sri Venkateshwara University, focusing on force multipliers for work productivity in the Indian Air Force. His academic credentials include an MBA, LLB, M.Sc. in Statistics, and B.Sc., reflecting a strong multidisciplinary foundation. With over 31 years of distinguished service in the Indian Air Force, Prof Pandey has held senior leadership roles such as Director at the Joint Control and Analysis Centre and multiple Director-level positions in Administration and HR across various commands. He has also excelled in academia, serving as Professor of Aviation and Associate Dean at Galgotias University, as well as visiting faculty at other institutions. His expertise covers strategic issues involving China and Pakistan, Indian strategic culture, military transformation, and human resource development within the armed forces. Recognized for exemplary leadership, he has been twice recommended for the Vishisht Seva Medal and awarded multiple trophies for organizational excellence. Prof Pandey continues to contribute to national security studies, research, and higher education through teaching, publications, and active participation in seminars and faculty development programs.
