Mr. Kamalduddin Sahem is a Resident Scholar under the University’s National Security and Police Scholarship since March 2021. He is also Assistant Professor (since 2016) and a former member in Administration in the logistics office (2012-15) in the Academy of Sciences, Afghanistan and Scientific Member, Regional Studies Center, Afghanistan. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Khatam Ul Nabeyen University, Kabul. He has cleared a Professional Journalism Course (6 months duration) at Jahan University (2015); a Certificate Course in Administration (2 months duration) from the Ministry of Finance, Afghanistan (2013); a Certificate Course in Computers and Internet Application from the NATO Logistical program organized for Academy of Sciences’ members (2013). Moreover, Mr. Sahem has worked as an Admin employee in logistical office for Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan (2012−2015). Mr. Sahem has 7 publications in the Academy of Sciences’ journals including on US bilateral relationships with Central Asian countries and other regional issues. He has attended numerous National and International workshops and seminars including on “Abdul Hadi Dawi” an eminent Afghan scholar, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan; on “The Economic, Political and Security importance of TAPI project for Afghanistan” held by Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan; and on “Water Management of Afghanistan and Regional Water Diplomacy”.
