About
Ms. Mairamgul Zhumabaeva is a Senior Language Instructor in Russian Language at the School of International Cooperation, Security and Strategic Languages (SICSSL) since August 2022. She is the coordinator for the Russian Studies Program at the School. Ms. Mairamgul has over 30 years of professional experience in teaching languages.
Previously, Ms. Mairamgul has taught English and Russian languages (including teaching Russian as a foreign language) in a number of government and private schools and universities in Kyrgyzstan. She has been an English and Russian Language Teacher at high schools in Kyrgyzstan (1990-1997); Senior Language Instructor at the Kyrgyz National University Zhusup Balasagyn (1999-2010); Mass Media Coordinator, English Language Teacher’s Association Forum, Kyrgyzstan (2008-2014); Senior Language Instructor for the Law Institute (2010-2018); ITEC participant, EFLU University, Hyderabad, India (2012); Researcher, Comenius University, Slovakia (2016); Language Teacher for Global Academy (2016-2018) and Senior Language Instructor for a Govt of India project (2018-2019).
Ms. Mairamgul has a full university degree in linguistics from the Roman-German Faculty of Kyrgyz State University(1990); International Law & Human Rights, University of Ferrara, Italy; Mobility Masters Program (2014-2015); Masters in Law, Kyrgyz Academy of Law (2018); and PostGraduate Study, Pannonia University, Hungary (2020-2021).
