About
Dr. Puja Singh is an Assistant Professor (Research) of International Relations and Security Studies at the School of International Cooperation, Security and Strategic languages (SICSSL) since 3rd November 2025. She has previously worked as an Assistant Professor in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad and also in the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat. She has delivered lectures in Gujarat University, Gujarat Technological University and Jesus & Mary College (NCWEB centre), University of Delhi.
Dr. Puja Singh has completed her Ph.D. from Central University of Gujarat on the topic “Confidence Building Measures as a means of Conflict Resolution: A Study of India and China Relations”. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (Hons.) from the University of Calcutta. She has qualified the UGC-NET examinations multiple times. She has also been awarded the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship (2024-25).
Her areas of expertise include International Relations, with a particular focus on India’s foreign policy, India–China relations, border security, and geopolitics. She has authored several research articles published in UGC-CARE listed and peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, she has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences. She has also completed two faculty development programs aimed at enhancing her academic and teaching skills.
