Dr. Usha Sujit Nair is an internationally recognised academic leader, researcher, and policy advisor in physical education, sport sciences, and gender-responsive sport development. With over two decades of distinguished service in higher education, national programme design, and global sport governance, she has made significant contributions to advancing quality physical education, safeguarding, and inclusive sport systems across India and internationally. She served as the Former Vice Chancellor of the National Sports University (Government of India), where she advanced institutional reform, strengthened academic leadership, and promoted safeguarding and gender inclusion in sport education.
