Dr. Chuan-Chih Yang is a Subject Matter Specialist in Mandarin Language in the School of International Cooperation, Security, and Strategic Languages (SICSSL) since 7th April 2025. Dr. Chuan-Chih Yang has completed her BSc. in 2005 at Chang-Gung University, Taoyuan Taiwan in the subject of Medical Imaging and Radiological Science. She later completed her Master degree in Biomedical Engineering in the year 2009 from the RWTH University, Aachen, Germany. Later, she obtained her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Magdeburg, Germany in the year 2020. Due to strong and deep interest in Mandarin language, she started teaching Mandarin to foreign students in Taiwan and India. Her main teaching philosophy is to center at the students, providing them the study materials according to their ability and aims. In addition, she has also designed the cultural learning materials such as the Calligraphy Writing and Chinese Classical Poetry Appreciation courses. She also helped the students to prepare for the TOCFL exam in Taiwan (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language). She has completed the Chinese Teacher training program (120 hours of professional training) at Tunghai University Chinese Language Center, Taichung, Taiwan.
