About
Mr. Ankit K is an Assistant Professor (Research) of International Relations and Security Studies at the School of International Cooperation, Security and Strategic Languages (SICSSL) since June 2024. He has completed his Bachelors from Hansraj College, University of Delhi and a Masters from South Asian University. He has qualified NTA-NET examination in the year 2023.
Ankit’s research focuses on the intersection of Defense and International Politics, particularly modern warfare and geopolitics. He is currently pursuing his PhD and his current thesis explores the role of ambiguity in nuclear policy, using India as a case study. He has extensive experience working on nuclear strategy with the armed forces. His career includes consultancy roles with the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Defense. He has also worked with prominent think tanks such as the Centre for Land Warfare Studies and Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi.
He contributes regularly to publications like Observer Research Foundation, The Hindu, and CSIS Washington DC, as well as international peer-reviewed journals. He has also published papers with UGC care listed journals.
