Ms. Aakansha Saxena is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security at Rashtriya Raksha University. With over 9+ years of rich academic experience, she is presently pursuing her PhD in Machine Learning from Ahmedabad University. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to research and education, shaping the future of students and contributing to advancements in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. In 2015, she was awarded the prestigious National Scholarship (National Fusion Program) for her postgraduate dissertation in Data Analytics and Visualization from the Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) – Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. Further enhancing her global expertise, she participated in the International Experience Program at Laurentian University, Sudbury, Canada, in 2013, where she gained specialized knowledge in Web Data Management, Wireless Communication, and Mobile Computing. Ms. Saxena’s dedication to professional development is evident from her achievement of multiple IBM Badges through the IBM Skills Academy, including the Artificial Intelligence Analyst-Explorer Award in 2020. She has authored numerous research papers, published several book chapters at national and international levels, and holds multiple patents, reflecting her significant contributions to the field. Her research interests and expertise lie in cutting-edge technologies like Explainable AI, Generative AI, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR). Her passion for nurturing innovation and research is reflected in her mentorship of various student groups under the Student Startup and Innovation Projects (SSIP) initiative. Under her guidance, her students secured first prize in the prestigious "Gujarat Industrial Hackathon," receiving a cash award from the Honourable Education Minister, Government of Gujarat. Additionally, she has successfully obtained grants from SSIP for working on Proof of Concept (POC) projects. Recognized for her expertise and contributions, she was invited to serve as a jury member on the panel for the Grand Finale of the Gujarat Industrial Hackathon 2019, held at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. She has also been invited to deliver numerous lectures at national and international platforms, sharing her knowledge with various government organizations such as the Indian Army, Border Security Force (BSF), and the Indian Navy. Through her relentless efforts in academia and research, Ms. Aakansha Saxena continues to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators and scholars in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
