Dr Ankita Parmar is an Academician and Researcher. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Forensic Science from Gujarat University. She has completed her Masters from Department of Biochemistry and Forensic Science, Gujarat University. She has a Bachelors degree in Physics. She has expertise in different fields of Forensic Science, i.e., Forensic Biology, Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Medicine, Fingerprints and Nanotechnology. She has been awarded Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minorities in 2011. She has served as a Faculty and Research fellow at Gujarat University for Five years. She also Have 6 years of extensive experience as a faculty in field of Competitive exams. She joined Rashtriya Raksha University in September, 2022 as an Assistant Professor [Forensic Science]. During her career she had attended and organized several National and International conferences and workshops. She had organized and chaired Hands on workshop on Fingerprints at Cairo University, Egypt. Her Research Work was also published as a newspaper article in Times of India. She has published three research papers in International Peer reviewed Scopus indexed journals with high impact factor. Apart from this she is an editorial member of The Egyptian Journal of Forensic Sciences and Applied Toxicology and reviewer in Benha Medical Journal Egypt.
