Dr. Ashutosh Mukund Pandey holds a Ph.D. in International Politics from the Centre for International Politics, School of International Studies (SIS), Central University of Gujarat. He currently serves as a Assistnat Professor (Research) at the School of Internal Security, Defence and Strategic Studies (SISDSS). In 2019, he was awarded the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) Doctoral Fellowship to support his research. His doctoral research focused on exploring the impact of media on Indian foreign policy. Prior to his Ph.D., Ashutosh obtained his M.Phil. from the Centre for International Politics, SIS, Central University of Gujarat, where he focused on Media’s Perception of China. His M.Phil. research investigated the portrayal of China in the national Hindi print media from 2012 to 2017, particularly focusing on editorial opinions in Hindi newspapers. Dr. Ashutosh holds a Master of Arts degree in Politics and International Relations. His research interests span across various domains including Media and National Security, Media’s Perception and Misperception, India’s Foreign Policy Decision-Making, and the Impact of Social Media on National Security.
