Dr. Keyur Patel received a Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Science Engineering, Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), an autonomous university established by the Government of Gujarat and mentored by IIT Gandhinagar and IIT Bombay, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, in 2020. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics Engineering from Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidhyalaya Engineering College, Vallabh Vidhyanagar, Gujarat. He is currently working as Director (I/C) and Assistant Professor in the School of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (SASET), Rashtriya Raksha University (An Institute of National Importance), Ministry of Home Affairs, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Prior to that, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, United World School of Computational Intelligence at Karnavati University, Gandhinagar, India. He also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar, and also worked in a public sector unit under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. He has published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences of repute and is an active member of the IEEE. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Quantum Machine Learning, Machine Vision, Computer Vision, IoT, Embedded Systems, AI for Medical Imaging, Drone Applications, and Network and Information Security. Recently, he developed a Centre of Excellence lab focused on emerging technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, and Cybersecurity costing around 20 Lakhs with generous support from SAP India Pvt. Ltd.
