Dr Vishal Sharma received his BE in ECE from the University of Rajasthan in 2006. He obtained his ME in Embedded Systems from BITS, Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan in 2010. He received his PhD degree in the year 2019 at IIT Jodhpur in the area of Quantum Communication. He worked in the Agrionics Lab at CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh. His research interests include quantum computation, quantum cryptography and quantum information, image processing, quantum sensors, Internet of Things and embedded systems, classical and quantum machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, computer vision and pattern recognition, Cybersecurity, Drone Applications, Information security and Cryptography with various multidisciplinary applications. He has nine years of research and teaching experience. He served as a Senior Project Fellow for Electronic Nose project in CEERI, Pilani. He worked as a Project Engineer in the Robotics lab at IIT Rajasthan. He received national and international awards based on his research work. He published significant research papers in renowned journals and is credited with twenty two granted patents till the date. He completed postdoctoral research from IIT Indore, IIT Kanpur, IISC Bengaluru and JGU Mainz University, Germany. Currently he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
