Mr. Avinash Kharel serves as an officiating Director of Rashtriya Raksha University, Arunachal Pradesh campus. With an inclination towards research driven athlete development, Mr. Kharel has various international publications towards areas of sports and allied sciences including performance enhancement, rehabilitation, women sports, combat sports and recreational athletes. Mr. Kharel along with a pool of researchers majorly including sports scientists and scholars across the globe are working towards creating a research driven sports ecosystem in India with easy merger of research in day-to-day coaching continuum. This ecosystem has led to implement and validate various athlete development models producing national athletes across the sports. Mr. Kharel has consistently held key leadership roles in university governance and administration.
