Mr. Ghanshyamsinh Shankarsinh Raol is working as a Subject Matter Specialist at School of Internal Security and SMART Policing (SISSP), under the aegis of Rashtriya Raksha University. Mr. Raol retired asas Assistant Commissioner of Police (DySP) with over three decades of dedicated service in the Gujarat Police. He joined the force in 1983 as a Police Sub-Inspector and served in various sensitive and prominent postings across Surat, Valsad, Vapi, and Ahmedabad. Over his career, he held key assignments at Bardoli, Kamrej, Chikhli, Bilimora, Mahidharpura, Shahpur, and Katargam, and later served in specialized units such as the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). He was promoted as Police Inspector in 2006 and as DySP in 2015, eventually retiring in 2017 as ACP (Special Branch).Post-retirement, Mr. Raol continued his professional journey as Gujarat Security Officer and Legal Advisor with TVS Finance (2017–2022) and as Legal Advisor to Meesho Company (2023–2024). He brings with him expertise in policing, legal advisory, and security management, along with proven leadership and field experience.
