  • ‘C’-Certificate is the highest recognition of training and qualification of a Senior NCC cadet (After three years of training)
  • ‘B’-Certificate is the initial recognition of training and qualification of a Senior NCC cadet (After two years of training)

1. Who can provide more information about Joining NCC programmes?
Associate NCC Officers and Caretaker officers can be contacted at ncc@rru.ac.in for more information.
2. What is the duration of the NCC Programme as an NCC Cadet?
For SD/SW Cadets: Three Years with one-year extension.
3. Are any fees to be paid for enrolment as an NCC Cadet?
No fees are to be paid. A token amount of money as a yearly Regimental subscription and Cadet Welfare Society contribution is required to be paid by every cadet.
4. What is the age limit for a student to join NCC?
For Senior Division/Senior Wing Cadets: Up to 26 years of age.
5. Is it compulsory to attend NCC Camps?
Yes
6. What are the various types of Camps in NCC?
  • Annual Training Camp (ATC)
  • Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)
  • Centrally Organised Camps (COC)
  • Thal Sainik Camps(TSC)
  • Vayu Sainik Camp(VSC)

8. Are there any Physical Criteria for a Student to join NCC? If so, what are they?
Yes. They are specified at Rule 5(d) and 6(d) of the NCC Rules.
9. How can I participate in the Republic Day Parade at Raj path in New Delhi?
A cadet selected as a member of the Directorate contingent, for the Republic Day Camp at Delhi, can be selected for the Republic Day Parade at Raj path in New Delhi.
