About Ms. Shreshta Chattopadhyay

I strongly believe that while qualifications are important, they don’t singularly define a person’s capacity to be an excellent psychologist or a compassionate human being. I’m continuously eager to learn and grow. My passion lies in cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness, which I’ve ardently followed. However, my two-year tenure in the psycho-oncology department at Tata Medical Center has profoundly shaped my perspective.

Through interactions with patients, I’ve found myself gravitating towards humanistic existentialism, valuing the therapeutic alliance above all. This shift in focus fuels my desire to delve deeper into this approach. My affection for teaching emerged during my master’s program, where I realized the joy of imparting knowledge about the beauty of psychology to students. Psychology, in essence, has bestowed meaning upon my life, and I’m committed to giving back by sharing its wonders with others.
