About Ms. Payal Parmanand Dhanwani

I am currently working with Rastriya Raksha University at School of Criminology and behavioral Science as Teacher Cum Research Associate in prison project (Psycho-Social Care Centre) to reform the inmates and help them to get back to society and even teach students of M.A in forensic psychology. Have experience with inmates under different NGO and even had work in hospital setup at different places in Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Baroda and Karjan).

  • Organized lecture of Body Language and deception detection by Gaurav Gill sir at SCBS for three days 7th -9th June 2023, for Students and Faculty.
  • Conducted training for students at Personal Perseverance and Awareness of Security for five days on 12th -16th July 2023, for students.
  • Delivered a talk on Psychological wellbeing at Army cantonment Chiloda in the month of April.
  • Talk on career guidance and counseling at Army cantonment chiloda in the month of August 20th.
  • Delivered a talk on Mental wellbeing at Ahmedabad cantonment in the month of 2nd and 3rd November 2023.

Experience
  • Worked as a Counsellor at Jambugam Hospital in bodeli working till June 2017 to July 2017. (The role was to counsel the women having more number of kids and also counsel regarding baby care and its needs).
  • Worked at Autism centre as a counsellor from August 2017 December 2017 in Vadodara. (The role was to teach slow learners simply method of teaching also guides them in the same direction, does testing with them also help them teach other skills so that they can earn their life alone).
  • Working as a counsellor at Baroda Citizens Council in Vadodara. In pankhi project role or responsibility is to counsel they sufferer of Domestic Violence and also gives ways to come out from it. Working till date.
  • Working as clinical psychologist in Malini kishore Sanghvi Hospital since 9th September 2019 till date.
  • Working as a counsellor in Pahal NGO since 10; September 2019 till date. I am working 3 days in hospital and 3 days in NGO.
  • January 2021 – September 22, Working at Gotri Hospital as HIV counsellor.
  • September 22 – till date working at Rastriya Raksha University as Teaching Cum Research Associate. (Deal with inmates)
