About Ms. Paulami Dutta Chowdhury

Ms. Paulami Dutta Chowdhury is currently employed at the School of Behavioural Sciences and Forensic Investigations (SBSFI) at Rashtriya Raksha University situated in Lavad, Taluka: Dahegam, Dist. Gandhinagar Gujarat, which is designated as an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. She holds the position of Teaching cum Research Officer (TCRO) in Clinical Psychology. Ms. Chowdhury holds an M.phil Degree in Clinical Psychology with specializations in spheres related to – Clinical Psychology(Child Development Related Dosorders/Conditions, Substance Use Disorders , and Geriatry). She has a keen interest in Neuro Psychology. Ms. Chowdhury has completed Her Masters Degree [M.Sc] in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from West Bengal State University. She Qualified her Bachelor’s Degree [Three Years B.Sc (Hons.) in Psychology] from Gokhale Memorial Girl’s College, affiliated to University Of Calcutta, Kolkata, West Bengal. In addition to the said qualifications, she also had qualified State Eligibility Test [SET-West Bengal]. She had been in Clinical Practice and Academics Simultaneously in the field of Clinical Psychology and Allied areas. Her Area Of Clinical Expertise pertains to- Psychological and Cognitive assessment- Child, Adult and Geriatric population, Psychotherapeutic Interventions – Individual and Group Therapy and Counseling; Psychoeducation and Psychotherapeutic Interventions among individuals with Substance Use disorder and their families.
