About Ms. Latika Grover
Latika Grover is currently appointed as a Teaching cum Research Officer at the School of Internal Security and Police Administration. She completed her graduation from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. Her academic background also incorporates a degree of Masters in Environmental Studies and Resource Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. She is UGC NET Qualified in the subject of Environmental Sciences.
She served as a Trainee Engineer at Delhi Pollution Control Committee and dealt with matters related to Waste to Energy Plants (WTE Plants), Compost Plants, Sanitary Landfill sites and Solid Waste Management in Delhi. She also participated in various inspections of WTE Plants by a team of officials from CPCB, DPCC, IIT, Delhi and MOEF&CC from time to time and compiled Annual Reports of Solid Waste Management.
She has also worked as a Research Officer Indian Institute of Public Administration on a Project Titled: Strengthening and Restructuring- Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). It involved data collection from Heads of various divisions and regional directorates of CPCB through interviews, questionnaires and workshops. She analysed data in order to suggest significant changes, monetary implications and recommendations were enumerated in the final report to enable the organization to strengthen.
With an interdisciplinary background and a keen interest in teaching and research, she intends to work hard and take up projects with efficacy. Her zeal for teaching will help students achieve their true potential in all spheres of life.
