About Mr. Sumit Tomar

Mr. Sumit Tomar is a Sports Training Officer in the School of Physical Education and Sports at Rashtriya Raksha University. He did his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P Ed) from the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior (M.P), and Post-Graduation (M.P.ED) from the University Of Lucknow. He had also completed a one-year Diploma in Sports Coaching (NSNIS) from NSEC, Kolkata. He also won Gold Medal in the All India Inter-University Competition and he has also won many important National Championship and competed in numerous National Tournament.

Mr. Tomar had also passed the All-India Football Federation (AIFF) D-License Examination. He’s also a part of the (Mission 11 million projects), which strives to reach 11 million boys and girls across the country for the promotion of Football.

  • Strength & Conditioning classes for BPES and Open Paper students.
  • Football Activity classes for BPES and Open Paper students.
  • Training Data Management.
  • Pre and Post Evaluation of players.
  • Prepare a session plan.
  • Prepare the Football Team of the University.
  • Organise/Conduct the Tournament.
  • Participate in external engagement related to football.
  • Purchasing of the football equipment.
  • Travel with the teams as Coach cum Manager.
  • Maintenance of the Football Field.

  • Presently working as a Sports Training Officer (Football) at Rashtriya Raksha University, Lavad, Dehgam, Gandhinagar since February 2022.
  • Completed 60 days internship at Panjab University, Chandigarh.
  • Did the Internship Program of 45 days in LK SINGHANIA School, Gotan (Rajasthan).

  • RRU Football Men’s Team participated in West Zone Inter University Championship 2022-23.
  • RRU Football Men’s Team participated in Atal Cup Football Tournament 2022-23.
  • RRU Football Men players selected for State level Khel -Mahakumbh Football Competition.
  • Panjab University Chandigarh won the state League and 3 players were selected for Santosh Trophy Championship.
