About Mr. Sourav Dey

Mr. Sourav Dey currently appointed as a Teaching cum Research Officer at the School of Internal Security and SMART Policing, Rashtriya Raksha University, Gujrat. He completed his Masters of Science in Geoinformatics in the year of 2023 from Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, India. And in the year of 2021, he completed his Bachelors of Science in Geography from Vidyasagar University, Medinipur, India. His research interest includes Geospatial Analysis, Machine learning Modelling.

Work Experience
  • Worked at RMSI, Noida, India as GIS engineer in Agri Modelling Team since Oct,2023 to Feb, 2024.

  • Introduction to SAR Data processing and Application organized by Department of Geo-Informatics, Central University of Jharkhand with MRS Lab, IIT Bombay. (17th to 20th April,2023)
  • Participated in International School of Soil Moisture organized by IIT Bombay. (15th to 17th March ,2023)
