About Mr. Nethaji Subash. I

Mr. Nethaji Subash is an Assistant Professor of Criminology. His primary areas of research interest are offender centric studies, hate crime, critical criminology, philosophy of crime, research methods in criminology, Issues in criminal justice system and sex offending. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Social Sciences at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He received his M.Phil degree in Social Sciences from TISS. He completed his post-grad in Criminology and Police Studies from Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur and is a graduate in Sociology from PSG College of Arts and Sciences, Coimbatore. His thesis is on “Hate Crime: An Empirical Approach Yoking Criminological Lens to Understand the Normalization of Hate”. He also done research on the areas of sex offending for the Seed Money Project. He currently teaches papers on Fundamentals of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Private Detective and Investigation, Research Methodology, and the practical component of Corporate Security Strategies.
