About Mr. L. Premshekara
Mr. L. Premshekara is an independent analyst of defense and strategic affairs and a political commentator who writes a weekly column on national and international affairs “Jagadagala” in a prominent Kannada daily newspaper “Vijayavani” since its inception in April 2012. He is also the State President of the Akhila Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Karnataka. Previously, he has taught International Relations and India’s Foreign Policy at the School of International Studies/Dept. of Politics and International Studies, Pondicherry Central University from 1990 to 2012. He has an M.A. in History (Delhi Univ., New Delhi) and M.Phil. in American Studies (JNU, New Delhi), .His Co-edited book titled India’s Foreign Policy: Continuity and Change in 2010 has become a text book in several of the Indian Universities. He has also published in 2010 a 13,000 words article “The Three Frontiers Theory: An Explanation to India’s Troubled Relations with Pakistan and China” which has won wide scholarly acclaim.
