About Mr. Jateen Baruah

Mr.Jateen Baruah is currently working as Teaching Cum Research Officer (Physical Education) at RRU Arunachal Pradesh Campus, Pasighat. He has completed his BPEd, from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical education, Guwahati, MPEd from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical education, Gwalior and is currently pursuing his PhD from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to Be University), Pune. He had qualified his UGC-NET in the year 2020. Mr. Jateen Baruah had received Best sports officer award from SIPH (scientific international publishing house) Registered under the ministry of SME, Government of India. Mr. Jateen Baruah had won multiple state medals and participated in many national competitions in weightlifting. He received the title of best Weightlifter, Assam consecutively three times. He had six years of academic experience.

  • Represented LNIPE Gwalior weightlifting Team in All India inter University competition for the year 2013, 2014 and 2017.

  • Participated in Junior National Weightlifting Championship 2009.

Presentations and publication
  • Effects of Four Weeks Additional Olympic Weight Lifting Training Session to A Regular Periodized Training Program in the Performance of District Level Cricket Players.
  • Presented a paper with the title “Effects of complex training versus traditional resistance training on measure of physical fitness in physically active males” in two days multidisciplinary national seminar on future ready education: adopting, learning and evaluation for tomorrow’s challenge organised by Gaur Brahman College of education, Rohtak.
  • Presented a paper with the title “A comprehensive review on complex training and traditional weight training programs for athletic performance” at the global conference on emerging technology leading towards sustainable entrepreneurship, economics, tourism, healthcare, media, education supporting green environment practices and business growth held on 8th and 9th December 2023.
  • Presented a paper with title “Comparative study of personality between active sedentary, team sports and individual sports players” at international conference on issues and new ideas in sports management.
