About Mr. Hitesh Goyal

Mr. Hitesh Goyal is appointed as an Assistant Professor (Police Administration) since 2023. Furthermore, he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from the School of Research Methodology and Social Sciences, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has completed his Master’s degree in Applied Criminology and Police Studies with a specialization in Human Rights from the Department of Criminology and Police Studies, Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur. He has done his MPhil Dissertation on Rajasthan Victim Compensation Scheme through the Lens of Victims in Jaipur District. His areas of research are Victim Assistance Program for Crime Victims, Victim Compensation Scheme, Vocational Skill Programs in Prisons, Juvenile Delinquency, Victim oriented policing, Community Policing, Modern Policing, Best Practices in Policing, Crime Scene Analysis and Crime Mapping, Police Investigation for Prosecution of Criminal Cases, Economic Crimes, Counter Corruption Studies, Environmental Crimes and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CEPTED) and Criminal Justice System (CJS) etc.

He worked as a faculty of Criminology and Nodal Officer for Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) in School of Behavioural Forensics at National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences (NICFS) Delhi Campus of NFSU an institution of National Importance under the ministry of home affairs, Govt. of India (2022-2023). He has also served as an Assistant Professor of Criminology in School of Arts, Media and Mass Communication at Karunya Institute of Technology and Science (A deemed University) (2021-2022). Mr. Goyal has also served as a Research Assistant in Centre for Social Defense and Gender Studies, Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur, Rajasthan (2017-2018). He is also a visiting faculty in Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI) Jaipur Division, BPR&D under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India (Since 2019).

Mr. Goyal has intellectual curiosity and passion to learn. He has the capacity to do hard work and has a zeal to travel and meet people and develop her professional skills. He can take up independent responsibility in a right and efficient manner. His good leadership and managerial abilities and extraordinary interpersonal skill have proved him to be an asset for any assignment.
