About Mr. Gaurav Mor

Mr. Gaurav Mor is a Subject Matter Specialist in the Russian language at the School of International Cooperation, Security, and Strategic Languages (SICSSL) since August 2023.

He is currently a PhD Research Scholar at the Centre of Russian Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies, JNU. He has an M.Phil. from the Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies, University of Delhi; Masters in Russian from the Centre of Russian Studies, JNU and a Graduation in English from the University of Delhi. He cleared the UGC NET-JRF in Dec 2018.

His areas of interest include Russian Literature, Modern Russian Language, Translation, Comparative Literature, Culture, and Folklore studies. Mr. Gaurav Mor has publication in a Peer Reviewed Journal (Indian Journal of Russian Studies by Indraprayal (Indian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature). He has made presentations at National and International conferences. He has visited Russia twice, once in 2018 on a scholarship to attend the Summer School “Modern Russian Language” at Moscow Region State University, and then in 2019 for an internship and pedagogical program at the Elabuga Institute in 2019. He has also published a collection of his poems in the form of a book “More Oregano than Chilli” in 2023 as a step towards a literary career.
