About Mr. Avinash Kharel

Mr. Avinash Kharel is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physical Education & Sports at Rashtriya Raksha University. He did his BPEd and MPEd from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education. Currently, he is pursuing Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Swarnim Gujarat Sports University.

In terms of Football participation, he had played many nationals and prestigious tournaments and won major titles in India. In several occasions, he acted as captain of the team & led in the major tournaments.

In terms of coaching and coach education, he had passed the British Council Premier Skills Coach Education Program with Level 1 (Highest Level) in Football. In terms of Management skills, he was appointed as a Youth Coordinator in FIFA U17 World Cup in 2017. He had been invited as a resource person in many workshops as well as delivered many lectures at different institutions in terms of Football development and coach education in India.

He has qualified National Cadet Corps (NCC) C certificate exam with ‘A’ grade. He had also received many honors from various stakeholders like Federation International de Football Association (FIFA), British Council, All India Football Federation (AIFF), International panel of Scouting Organization (IPSO), National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Eligibility Test (NET) and All India Council of Teacher Education (AICTE).
