Shri Vikas Sahay, IPS, served as the Director-General (DG) of Raksha Shakti University (now, Rashtriya Raksha University) from February 2016 to January 2020. A Distinguished IPS Officer of Gujarat cadre, Shri Sahay is currently serving as DGP (Training) in Gujarat Police. He has been a recipient of the President Police Medal for Meritorious Service and also the very prestigious President Police Medal for Distinguished service.

Shri AK Singh, IPS, served as the Director-General (DG) of Raksha Shakti University (now, Rashtriya Raksha University) from August 2015 to February 2016. In his distinguished career in police service, Shri Singh has served in several key positions at the state and national level including serving as the Director-General of the National Security Guard (NSG). Shri Singh has also served as the Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad city where he played a decisive role in tackling the traffic and parking issues in the city.
