About Dr. Dolly Mishra
Dr. Dolly Mishra is appointed as an Assistant Professor (Research) since 2020. Additionally, she is handling the portfolio of Assistant Director, School of Internal Security and Police Administration. Dr. Mishra is Ph.D. from Central University of Gujarat. Her title of research was: “Impact of Globalization on Human Trafficking in India: A Case Study of the Northeastern Region”. She has been awarded Indian Council of Social Science Research Doctoral Fellowship during her research work. She has done extensive fieldwork in Meghalaya, Assam, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh during her doctoral work. Her research interest includes human trafficking in South Asia and Southeast Asia, human security, illegal migration, human rights, human security, traditional and non-traditional security issues, globalization and gender issues.
She Worked as an Assistant Professor in School of Law (2017) at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. She has also served as a Junior Project Fellow in Gujarat National Law University, funded by Regional Institute of Education Mysore (NCERT, New Delhi) (2019). She has also worked as Research Assistant, project on ‘Get-Out- the Vote Study: Studying Impact of Religious Identity on Voter’s Mobilization in Uttar Pradesh’, jointly conducted by University of California at Berkeley (USA) and Christ Church College Kanpur (India).
Dr. Dolly Mishra has intellectual curiosity and passion to learn. She has the capacity to do hard work and has a zeal to travel and meet people and develop her professional skills. She can take up independent responsibility in a right and efficient manner. Her good managerial abilities and extraordinary interpersonal skill have proved her to be an asset for any project.
