About Dr. Deepali Jain

Dr. Deepali Jain is committed researcher, editor, and insightful academician. She holds Ph.D. degree in Forensic Science, with the specialisation in Forensic Anthropology from Punjabi University, Patiala. She has completed her master’s degree in Anthropology from Hansraj College, Delhi University, Delhi with excellent academic score. She is awarded with National Eligibility Test from University Grants Commission. Her interest areas of research include Forensic Anthropology, Forensic Odontology, Forensic Biology, Forensic Medicine & Fingerprints. She has more than 14 research publications in different National and International Journals and has chapters in Books and Magazines. She has completed her bachelor’s degree in life science’s from Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

She has served as Faculty of Forensic Science at Department of Biotechnology, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow where she taught various sub disciplines of Forensic Science, guided 42 post graduate students for their M.Sc. dissertation work and undertook various administrative roles and responsibilities. Post that she has been Joined as an Assistant Professor (Forensic Science) at Rashtriya Raksha University since November 2021. She has organized, attended, chaired several conferences, seminars, workshops of National & International level and has presented several research papers. Also, she has been a visiting faculty and examiner at National PG College, Lucknow University, Lucknow (U.P.).

She is Managing Editor of “Forensic Science International: Reports”. She has been conferred best paper awards at International conferences. She has worked as an investigator including survey, data collection and analysis in the study entitled “Impact of Flood on Nutritional Status of Under Five Children in Bahraich (U.P)” conducted by Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi (MICRODIS, EU Funded Project Entitled “Integrated Health, Social and Economic Impacts of Extreme Events: Evidence, Methods and Tools”). She has been involved in bringing new ideas and initiatives for the development of her professional competency and organization as a whole.
