Dr. Dharmeshkumar D. Prajapati

Dr. Dharmeshkumar Prajapati is currently serving as the Registrar (In-Charge) at Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), a pioneering National Security and Police University of India, located in Lavad, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. He has played a pivotal role in the growth and development of the University and holds over eight years of administrative experience at RRU.
Dr. Prajapati began his academic journey at Shri Himmat High School, Himatnagar. He earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from Maliba Pharmacy College, Bardoli, Surat, Gujarat, and pursued his Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka. In 2012, he completed his Ph.D. from the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, Gujarat.
With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Prajapati served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor for over a decade. His academic contributions include:
- 13+ research papers published in reputed national and international journals.
- Authorship of two books and contributions to numerous refereed conference proceedings.
- Active participation in over 40 scientific conferences, workshops, and symposiums.
He is an active member of various professional bodies related to pharmacy and education and has been invited as a Guest Speaker and Guest of Honour at several academic and professional events. He has also received seminar grants from ICMR, New Delhi, and GUJCOST, Gandhinagar.
Dr. Prajapati played an instrumental role in the establishment and administration of RRU’s Karnataka campus. He also served as the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) at the University. His expertise spans key administrative domains including:

- Examination and Evaluation
- International Cooperation and Relations
Dr. Prajapati’s dedication to academic excellence and leadership has been recognized on several occasions. In recognition of his exceptional service, Dr. Prajapati was honoured with the “Best Administrative Excellence Award” for the academic year 2023–24.
