ABOUT

The Center combines threat intelligence, security automation, incident response, threat detection, and other security functions from various security tools in a collaborative manner to deduce high confidence, actionable intelligence designed to improve an organization’s detection and response capability. This approach bridges the gap between teams through intelligence synthesis and helps enable rapid threat prediction capabilities.

MISSION

In order to make strategic decisions, security teams need to correlate threat detection data from multiple disparate sources. This correlation can be achieved using innovative technology, artificial intelligence, and enhanced collaboration. The Centre helps connect the dots between threat information gathered from multiple sources to gain insights into threat actors’ tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and increase response time. Security teams are able to better understand adversary behavior through improved inter-team collaboration by connecting the dots to quickly identify security incidents. Centers help security professionals identify security trends

OBJECTIVES

1. Information Integration: To collect, analyze, and integrate information from multiple sources.This integration helps create a more complete and accurate picture of potential threats.
2. Interagency Collaboration: To facilitate collaboration and information sharing among different government and private agencies and organizations. This cooperation is essential for addressing complex and multifaceted security challenges that may span different jurisdictions and areas of expertise.
3. Analysis and Assessment: To conduct in-depth analysis of the integrated information to identify patterns, trends, and potential threats. Analysts in this center use their expertise to make sense of diverse data and produce actionable intelligence.
4. Timely Warning and Response: By integrating information and analyzing it in real-time, fusion centers can provide timely warnings of potential security threats. This enables decision-makers to respond quickly and effectively to emerging situations.
5. Counterterrorism and Homeland Security: Fusion center often play a crucial role in counterterrorism efforts and homeland security. It focuses on preventing and responding to a wide range of security threats, including terrorism, cyber threats, and other forms of criminal activity.
6. Global Impact: Leveraging our capabilities to make a positive impact on global security, public safety, and the well-being of societies by providing actionable intelligence.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Conducted Lectures on OSINT and related framework for NIC Tier I and II Officers.

Conducted Lecture on Introduction to OSINT, Basic Tools and Techniques and Advanced Methodology of data collection for Army Personnel from Central Command.

Conduct of regular awareness programs for students on emerging aspects of Research and development with the domain of Intelligence Fusion.

Team successfully presented at Indo-Pacific Geointelligence conference 2023 which focused on Technology Fusion and R&D for border and public safety.
