About Cdr. Manoj Bhatt (Retd)

Cdr Manoj Bhatt, an Indian Navy Veteran, is a Post Graduate Engineer with Masters in Financial Management. He has over 37 years of diverse experience with Indian Navy, Corporate Sector and Academic Institutions. He is also an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and a certified Project Management Professional of PMI, USA.

He has worked extensively in the functional areas of Project Management, Administration, Facilities Management, Operations & Maintenance, Human Resource Management, Strategy, and Finance. He has diverse experience in Consulting Services, Ports, Shipyards, Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS), Submarine Construction, Setting up Organization & Operations and Administration of technical and management institutions. He was a visiting faculty at BK School of Management, Ahmedabad and has taught Project Management.

During his naval career Cdr Bhatt has served onboard Ships & Submarines, at Naval Dockyards, Strategic Command Headquarters, and Training and Shore Establishments. He has participated in many sensitive operations including that of Indian Peace Keeping Force in Sri Lanka.

His major corporate interfaces include Vice President at Aatash Norcontrol, and General Manager at Reliance Retail. Prior to joining RRU Cdr. Bhatt was the Chief Administrative Officer (equivalent to Registrar) of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for 10.5 years.
