Abhinav Pandya is a Visiting Faculty with the School of International Cooperation, Security and Strategic Languages, Rashtriya Raksha University since September 2021. He is also the founder and CEO of Usanas Foundation, an India-based geopolitical and security affairs think-tank. Mr. Pandya has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Cornell University, US and Graduation degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. He is the author of the books “Radicalization in India: An Exploration” and “Terror Financing in Kashmir”. Previously, Mr. Pandya was a consultant with Inter-American Development Bank, Washington DC and the International Labour Organisation. From 2016, Mr. Pandya was Advisor on Security, Radicalisation and Youth Affairs to Shri Satya Pal Malik, then Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. He served in Kashmir during the Pulwama suicide bombing and the abrogation of article 370. Mr. Pandya’s work has featured in The National Interest (US), Economic Times, Fair Observer (US), Haaretz (Israel), Ceylon Today (Sri Lanka), South Asia Democratic Forum (Brussels), The Print, HW News, Sunday Guardian, Quint, Vivekananda International Foundation, Policy Perspectives Foundation, Perspectives on Terrorism, Huffington Post (USA), Express Tribune (Pakistan), Pak Tea House (Pakistan), First Post and Swarajya. He also appears as a panellist on India’s national TV debates on security and strategic affairs.
